eCruising

Brett started Ecruising in January 2000 and has built the company from the ground up. Originally formed with a staff of just two, the ecruising group of companies now consists of vertically integrated wholesale and retail divisions employing over 20 people.

Ecruising pioneered the way Australian consumers purchase a cruise holiday by opening up the distribution channels and allowing both agents and consumers alike to book a cruise holiday at their convenience, 24 hours a day, giving them access to competitive packages. Ecruising has been able to do this through its agreements with over 33 cruise lines, 21 airlines, ground operators and over 224 hotels around the world, we leverage these relationships and create unique cruise packages that deliver seamless travel.

Over the past 6 years, Ecruising has developed unique high end tours combining the highest level of experiences for the discerning traveller. Past tours include chartering the Orion Expedition ship in May 2009 from Broome to Darwin for 100 people; this included helicopter experiences to remote areas, visiting ports that are not normally accessible, chartering planes to the Bungle Bungles. In 2011, Ecruising chartered a luxury ship for 48 passengers to cruise the Galapagos Islands, this was combined with a land program to Peru and Easter Island.

For the past 5 years, Ecruising has taken groups to Africa combined with Queen Mary 2, which also included chartering a 737-800 from Kenya Airways and taking out game lodges exclusively for Ecruising guests.

Ecruising continues to lead the way in technology development. Consumers now have the ability to book all the major cruise lines online themselves in less than 2 minutes 24 hours a day at very competitive pricing. Try it and you’ll never book a cruise holiday any other way! See our website under Book Online for details.

In November 2008, Ecruising opened a regional office in Hong Kong which now employs eight full time staff. In 2010, Brett was recognised by Hong Kong’s Chief Executive, the Honourable Donald Tsang, at the reception for Top Executives for New Companies Expanding into Hong Kong.

In 2011, Ecruising was recognised by Hong Kong Economic Trade for contribution to industry between NSW and Hong Kong. Over the last 13 years, ecruising group has been awarded over 84 accolades including The City of Sydney Business Awards, twice in three years. Ecruising continues to lead the way in cruise travel technology.
