The Iceland Cruise sounds fantastic. It gives you amazing quality time to view this fascinating part of the world and have time to relax and analyse the next journey you will take after you return. The other destination that appeals to me is the European Barge Holiday. A barge holiday is such a unique experience which other holidays to not offer. The chance to take in all the sights at a steady pace gives you a chance to appreciate the beauties of the world.

These two or more are on my bucket list. Firstly the Kimberley Gorge in Western Australia. While it would be lovely to cruise there, I'm open to flying. In the same trip I would have to do Darwin, Kakadu, and Arnhem Land. And if in the Northern Territory, why wouldn't take in the sights of Katherine Gorge, the Alice and Uluru. The Ghan is still a big question mark. We did the Indian Pacific train last year and it was great. Been on an overseas cruise, onboards was great, just wasn't impressed with their choice of highlights, or getting ill.

With two sons still at home, a trip to the shops is like a relaxing getaway. For a real holiday I would start by going to the Spa Special At QT Sydney. I would do this to start my holiday in a relaxed and stress free mood. I would then board the Queen Elizabeth on a 15 night Sydney to Osaka cruise. I would take this cruise because I would love to experience a cruise ship, and have always wanted to see Japan. Just the thought of such a trip makes me feel relaxed.

After going through and imagining myself at each luxurious destination, I decided my two favourites were:- Romantic Spa Retreat Package at The Byron At Byron…. Hubby and I can unwind each night, Smiles, music, a little candlelight, We’d relax away our daily troubles, Whilst enjoying a glass of bubbles. And Save 47% With a Theme Park Package, Gold Coast Five days to enjoy theme parks galore, And the shopping malls to explore, Plus all the restaurants and pubs, Golden beaches and hotel kids clubs! Although I would have to do the theme park package first and then use the romantic spa retreat to recover from the 5 days of overexcited children! One day we will manage to take advantage of one of the amazing overseas trips, but for now, we are happy to explore our own Country :)
